Kristen Hanson | Community Relations Advocate, Patients Rights Action Fund
As 2019 comes to an end, and we begin to make plans for the year ahead, I am reminded that time is precious.
Nearly two years ago, I lost my husband, JJ, to terminal brain cancer. Although we couldn’t save JJ’s life, we can carry on his work fighting against the legalization of assisted suicide and advocating for better end-of-life care for all patients with chronic, life-threatening illness. We can be voices of hope in an all too often hopeless world.
Please consider joining JJ’s Legacy Circle as a way of honoring JJ’s selfless dedication to protecting the vulnerable and to reminding the world that every day is a gift.
Your contribution of $25, $50, $100 a month, or whatever your means allow, will help keep JJ’s memory alive and enable us toget out the truth about the horrific practice of assisted suicide.
